Pet Food Pantry

The Camden County Pet Food Pantry, created by the four animal welfare organizations in the Animal Alliance of Camden County, intends to keep pets with their families by offering food assistance. Owners surrender pets to local shelters regularly, and financial hardship is a common reason for doing so. The Alliance seeks to help Camden County residents keep pets in their homes by providing nutritional assistance to those in need. The only requirement is a need for assistance in providing food for a pet.

Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center's Pet Food Pantry is scheduled two Saturdays every month. In April, the Pet Food Pantry will be open on the following dates:

  • Saturday April 13th--held at 501 Penn St. Camden, NJ (Rutgers-Camden Business and Science Building)

  • Saturday April 27th--held at Homeward Bound, 125 County House Rd. Blackwood, NJ

The hours of operation for the Pet Pantry are from 11am to 1pm. All food and supplies are distributed on a first come, first served basis. All food packages are received directly and have not had any alterations to their contents. We ask that all recipients check their food prior to feeding their pets as HBPAC cannot guarantee any individual product.

If you can't make it on April 13th in Camden or on April 27th at Homeward Bound and still need help, visit the Pet Food Pantry at Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees, NJ.  Animal Welfare Association's Pet Food Pantry will be open the following dates:

  • Sunday April 7th, 2-4PM
